Naoki Nakano studied physics at Tokyo Institute of Technology, specializing in low temperature physics, and graduated with Master of Science in physics in 1998.
Mr. Nakano started his career as a hardware engineer at Toshiba Corporation in Japan, and was engaged in developing a hard disk drive for 4 years.
Mr. Nakano has been working in the field of industrial property rights since 2004. He worked for a patent law firm in Tokyo for 7 years, and has been registered as a Japanese Patent Attorney since 2005. In 2011, he moved to Germany and started to work for an IP law firm in Munich. In 2017, he became a European Patent Attorney.
Mr. Nakano mainly works on patent prosecution in the fields of electrical and electronic engineering, telecommunication, optics, mechatronics, and mechanical engineering.
Mr. Nakano joined our firm in 2018.
